The Opportunity W&A is partnering with a leading tourism organisation to appoint a Senior Finance Business Partner who will play a pivotal role in driving financial performance and supporting strategic decision-making across the business. This hybrid role offers flexibility across Edinburgh, Glasgow and Stirling offices, with attendance required just once per week.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with senior management to provide strategic financial insight and challenge.
- Lead the budgeting, forecasting and long-term planning processes across directorates.
- Deliver high-quality management information, performance analysis and recommendations.
- Support investment appraisals, scenario planning and business cases for key initiatives.
- Champion best practice in financial management, ensuring compliance and value for money.
- Manage, mentor and develop finance colleagues, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
What You’ll Bring
- Fully qualified accountant (ICAS, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
- Proven experience in a senior finance business partnering role.
- Excellent analytical and communication skills, with the ability to influence non-financial stakeholders.
- Strong commercial awareness and an ability to connect financial performance with organisational outcomes.
- Experience in the public or not-for-profit sector, or in an organisation with a strong purpose-led mission, is advantageous.
Package & Benefits
- Salary: £49,000 – £55,500.
- Hybrid working model – one office day per week across Edinburgh, Glasgow or Stirling.
- 36.5 days’ holiday (including public holidays) with the option to buy or sell additional leave.
