The Business
We are supporting a fast-growing, entrepreneurial SME operating in the infrastructure sector. Founded in the last decade, the business is entering a new phase of growth, materially increasing scale, complexity and reporting requirements. As part of this growth, the business is strengthening its finance capability to ensure robust reporting, control, and insight to support decision-making and delivery.
The Role
This is a hands-on interim Finance Manager / Senior Finance support role, working closely with the Head of Finance. The remit is delivery-focused and practical, providing immediate capacity and technical support during a critical reporting and clean-up period.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the preparation and finalisation of statutory accounts
- Produce and improve monthly management accounts
- Develop and maintain cash flow forecasts
- Help establish clear, practical financial reporting appropriate for a scaling SME
- Work closely with the Head of Finance
Candidate Profile
- Qualified accountant or Qualified by Experience accountant
- Strong hands-on and technical capability
- Comfortable operating in a small business / lean finance environment
- Able to work autonomously, pragmatically, and at pace
- Exposure to FRS 102 advantageous
- Experience using Xero advantageous
- Immediately available or on short notice
