W&A are delighted working with an established group based in Fife as they look to recruit a qualified accountant for a new Finance Business Partner role. The role requires a qualified accountant that can act as a conduit between finance and the business building and maintaining strong relationships with operational teams. You will act as a primary point of contact for key customers for financial and commercial matters.

Key Responsibilities

  • Preparation of monthly management accounts for areas of focus
  • Preparing annual budgets and quarterly forecasting as required
  • Work with bid teams to provide financial modelling support to contract tenders
  • Participating in the annual audit process
  • Developing and improving processes to achieve best practice
  • Developing and maintaining a high level of understanding for commercial areas
  • Provide assistance to the Financial Accountant for group accounting tasks as required
  • Generating accurate sales invoices in a timely manner for the contracts

Background/Experience

  • Fully qualified accountant (Essential)
  • The role could suit someone making a move from industry or accountancy practice (ideally if you have management accounts preparation experience)
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships out with finance
  • Ideally you will have experience of producing management accounts and be comfortable presenting findings to senior management
  • Good ability on Excel and some financial modelling experience would be advantageous

The role comes with hybrid working and a discretionary bonus.
