We’re supporting a global manufacturing business in Arbroath to recruit an experienced Management Accountant on a 6 month contract. This role is a backfill while the current postholder supports a system implementation, so you’ll step straight into a hands-on, operationally focused finance role. You’ll work closely with the site operational teams, taking ownership of reporting, analysis and costing in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
What you’ll be doing:
- Producing management accounts and key site reporting
- Delivering variance analysis including SCV and PPV
- Supporting operational decision making through insight and analysis
- Partnering with manufacturing teams to understand cost drivers
- Leading on product costing (BOM, routing, purchase price)
- Balance sheet reconciliations and GL review
- Working with SAP data and building out meaningful reporting in Excel
What we’re looking for:
- Proven management accounting experience, ideally in manufacturing
- Strong costing and variance analysis background
- Confident working closely with non-finance stakeholders
- Strong Excel skills and SAP experience
- Available to start quickly and happy to be onsite full time
What’s on offer:
- Competitive salary (c.£55,000 to £65,000) or day rate equivalent inside IR35
- Immediate start
