W&A are delighted to be working in exclusive partnership with a multi-faceted private business located near Leven, Fife. The business is looking to appoint a part time Company Accountant (3 days per week) to lead the finance function for the business due to an impending retirement. The role will work closely with the Operations Team and the Owners taking full ownership of finance for the business. The business operates an array of really interesting services and in turn provides the Company Accountant role with great variety, where truly no two days are the same.
Key Responsibilities:
- Production of Financial Management Accounts
- Running of Payroll for the Group
- Reconcile bank accounts and review cashflow requirements
- Obtain approvals for purchase invoices and update
- Monitor and process bank activity
- Overview of Tax and VAT in line with External Auditors
- Build relationships with the Operations Teams to understand upcoming costs and revenues
- Management of Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
Background/ Experience:
- Experienced 'Hands On' Financial Accountant
- The ability to work as part of a Team
- Excellent attention to detail with the ability to work with competing priorities
- Knowledge of Sage (Advantageous)
