W&A is supporting a global organisation in appointing a Payroll Transformation Lead for a two-year fixed-term contract , based just outside Glasgow, with hybrid working.
Sitting at the heart of a major Finance Transformation programme, you'll lead a high-profile workstream focused on creating a more consistent, scalable and well-controlled global payroll operating model.
The Opportunity This is a high-impact role within a wider Finance Transformation programme, with responsibility for helping shape the future of payroll across the organisation.
You'll lead the payroll workstream, bringing together people, processes and technology to create a more consistent and efficient approach.
Working with stakeholders across the business, you'll turn transformation priorities into practical plans and help ensure change is delivered effectively.
Key Responsibilities Lead the payroll workstream within a major transformation programme.
Help shape and improve end-to-end payroll processes and ways of working.
Develop clear plans, priorities and longer-term payroll initiatives.
Identify opportunities to simplify, standardise, and improve payroll processes.
Support payroll-related systems and technology change.
Manage key risks, dependencies and delivery priorities.
Develop meaningful payroll KPIs and performance measures.
Build strong relationships across Finance, HR and the wider business.
Champion effective change and continuous improvement.
What You'll Bring Strong end-to-end payroll knowledge and experience.
Experience within payroll transformation, change or process improvement.
Exposure to ERP or payroll systems change would be beneficial.
An ability to turn complex requirements into practical solutions.
Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills.
A collaborative approach with the confidence to challenge and drive change.
Experience in a global or complex organisation would be advantageous.
