You'll become part of a collaborative transformation environment, working with colleagues across the business to understand challenges, bring structure to complex activity and help turn ideas into practical, sustainable improvements.

The Opportunity This role is well suited to someone with a grounding in accountancy who wants to broaden their experience into process improvement and change.

You'll use your understanding of core finance activities, particularly budgeting and forecasting, to help assess how work is carried out today and where it can be improved.

Working closely with stakeholders across Finance and connected teams, you'll help move activity from analysis into delivery.

It's a varied opportunity for someone who enjoys the commercial and analytical side of Finance and wants exposure to a significant transformation programme.

Key Responsibilities Review current planning and performance processes, identifying ownership, hand-offs and areas for improvement.

Work with Finance and wider stakeholders to gather requirements and keep activity on track.

Identify opportunities to simplify and standardise processes.

Apply continuous improvement techniques, including LEAN, to address inefficiencies.

Turn analysis into clear process documentation, recommendations and requirements.

Support KPI development, governance and decision-making.

Track actions, risks, issues and dependencies across the workstream.

Consider links with the IFS rollout and wider finance transformation activity.

Support future planning, reporting and workflow requirements.

Help embed new processes through implementation and handover.

Candidate Profile Finance background, ideally part-qualified accountancy or equivalent practical experience.

Strong budgeting and forecasting experience.

Analytical and confident working with detailed financial and operational information.

Able to produce clear process documentation and stakeholder materials.

Strong communicator who can work effectively across teams and seniority levels.

Organised, with the ability to manage actions, priorities and dependencies.

Interested in finance transformation, process improvement and change.

LEAN or other continuous improvement experience would be advantageous.

Package Benefits Competitive salary and benefits package, with eligibility to participate in a bonus plan.

Generous annual leave, including the flexibility to buy or sell some holiday entitlement.

Private healthcare.

Generous pension contributions.

Life assurance.

Employee Assistance Programme.

Cycle to Work scheme.

Access to learning resources to support personal and professional development.

Why This Role?

Gain hands-on exposure to a significant Finance Transformation programme rather than being limited to one narrow area of change.

Work across process, people, technology and reporting, giving you a broad view of how a future finance model is developed.

Have the opportunity to question existing approaches and see your analysis translate into tangible improvements.
