An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Manager to join a growing professional services team supporting clients across the Financial Services sector. This role has been created in response to increasing demand for sustainability and regulatory reporting expertise and offers the chance to help shape and develop a growing capability area within an established advisory practice. Strong financial reporting expertise and leadership capability are considered the most important requirements.
The Role
- Working as part of a senior leadership team, you will help lead client engagements, develop team capability and support the growth of a specialist reporting and advisory offering.
- You will work with a broad range of Financial Services clients and have the opportunity to contribute across sustainability reporting, regulatory reporting, governance and wider risk-related projects.
- This is a highly visible role with responsibility for leading people, managing client relationships and helping shape the future direction of the team.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and deliver complex client engagements across financial and sustainability reporting projects.
- Build trusted relationships with senior client stakeholders.
- Support the development and growth of a specialist reporting capability.
- Manage, coach and develop junior team members.
- Contribute to business development and growth initiatives.
- Provide technical insight across reporting, governance and regulatory matters.
- Support planning, prioritisation and delivery across multiple concurrent projects.
About You
We are keen to speak with individuals who can demonstrate:
- A professional accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA or equivalent).
- Strong financial reporting, statutory reporting or external reporting experience.
- Experience operating at Senior Manager level or equivalent leadership responsibility.
- Proven ability to lead and develop people.
- Strong stakeholder management and client-facing skills.
- Excellent planning, organisational and prioritisation capabilities.
- A genuine interest in sustainability and evolving reporting standards.
Backgrounds of Interest
