W&A is supporting an expanding business in its search for a Finance Manager to join the team in either Glasgow or Edinburgh. Working closely with senior leadership and external advisors, this role offers a varied remit across finance operations, reporting support, cashflow management, and business administration.
You'll be responsible for ensuring accurate financial operations, supporting commercial decision-making, and helping maintain efficient systems and processes as the business continues to grow. This is a part-time role, working 3 days per week.
- Oversee day-to-day finance operations, including bookkeeping, reconciliations, supplier payments, and expenses
- Prepare accurate financial information and support monthly management reporting
- Monitor cashflow, track payments, and support effective working capital management
- Provide reporting and analysis to support operational and commercial decision-making
- Maintain strong financial controls and ensure records remain accurate and audit-ready
- Support process improvements across finance systems and internal workflows
Previous experience in a Finance Manager, Senior Bookkeeper, or similar finance role. Strong understanding of transactional finance and financial operations. Confident using finance systems such as Xero or similar accounting platforms.
