WA is supporting with a 2.5 month contract that offers the opportunity to work in a high-performing consultancy based in Edinburgh. Working on a hybrid basis (typically two to three days in the office), the contract runs through to end March, with an immediate start required.
The Opportunity
This is a hands-on and commercially focused finance role where you will play a key part in supporting the Finance Director across a range of initiatives and projects. You will assist with end to end management reporting, month-end processes, and business insight, while providing guidance and support to the transactional finance team.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with management accounting and month-end close activities
- Support strategic finance projects and business improvement initiatives
- Provide commercial insight and challenge key financial information
- Partner closely with the Finance Director to deliver accurate, timely reporting
- Offer informal support and guidance to the transactional finance team
What You Will Bring
- A professional accounting qualification (CA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
- Experience within management accounting and commercial finance roles
- Strong analytical and communication skills, able to challenge and add value
- A proactive, hands-on approach and confidence working in a fast-paced, evolving business

Base Salary: Β£55,000 - Β£65,000
