Wilkinson & Associates is delighted to be partnering with a large, purpose-led organisation undergoing significant transformation to recruit a Finance Business Partner. This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially minded finance professional to move into a highly visible business partnering role within a complex and evolving organisation. Working closely with senior operational stakeholders, you will provide financial insight, challenge and support to help drive performance and strategic decision making.

The organisation is investing heavily in systems, processes and organisational development, creating a dynamic environment where finance is becoming increasingly embedded within operational decision making.

Key Responsibilities
  • Build strong relationships with senior stakeholders across a designated business area
  • Provide financial analysis, insight and challenge to support decision making
  • Support budgeting, forecasting and business planning processes
  • Identify risks, opportunities and areas for improvement
  • Translate financial information into meaningful commercial recommendations
  • Contribute to change and transformation initiatives across the wider organisation
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues across finance and operational teams
About You
  • Qualified accountant (CA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to influence and challenge constructively
  • Commercially curious with a proactive approach to problem solving
  • Comfortable operating in a changing environment
  • Previous experience in a business partnering, commercial finance or finance management role would be desirable but attitude and transferable skills are more important.
  • Sector experience is not essential. We are particularly interested in candidates who can demonstrate strong relationship building skills, commercial awareness and the ability to engage effectively with non-financial stakeholders.
