With exciting growth plans ahead, this is a fantastic opportunity for an analytically minded finance professional who enjoys working with data, spotting trends, and turning numbers into meaningful commercial insight.

Based in East Kilbride, this role offers a hybrid working model of 3 days in the office and 2 from home.

The Opportunity

This is an ideal role for someone who is naturally curious, enjoys digging into the detail, and thrives on understanding the why behind the numbers. Sitting within a collaborative commercial finance team, you'll work closely with senior stakeholders across the business to support performance analysis, reporting, forecasting, and decision-making.

You don't need sector experience for this role; the business is far more interested in someone with strong analytical capability, commercial curiosity, and the confidence to challenge and interpret data.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and analyse weekly and monthly performance reporting, identifying trends, variances, and opportunities
  • Build and maintain dashboards and reports to support commercial decision-making
  • Provide detailed analysis around sales, revenue, margins, and business performance
  • Support forecasting and budgeting activities across multiple areas of the business
  • Deliver ad-hoc analysis and modelling to support strategic initiatives and operational performance
  • Work closely with stakeholders across finance and wider business functions to provide meaningful financial insight
  • Assist in improving reporting processes, controls, and data accuracy
  • Support ongoing development of systems, reporting tools, and commercial analysis capabilities

What You'll Bring

  • Part-qualified accountant or qualified by experience
  • Previous experience within a commercial finance, analytical, reporting, or management accounting role
  • Strong Excel and data analysis skills with confidence working with large volumes of information
  • Naturally inquisitive mindset with a genuine interest in understanding and interpreting data
  • Excellent attention to detail and strong problem-solving capability
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to present financial information clearly to non-finance stakeholders
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment
  • Experience with BI tools or reporting systems would be advantageous
