Drive commercial performance through data-led insight in a role where your analysis will directly shape strategic decision-making across a growing UK-wide business. This home-based opportunity offers the chance to work closely with senior leadership, influence pricing and operational strategy, and play a key role in forecasting, reporting, and business growth initiatives across a multi-site operation. The role is primarily home based, with occasional travel required to sites across the UK and head office locations.
This is a high-impact role for a commercially minded analyst who enjoys turning complex data into meaningful business insight. Reporting to the CFO, you'll support decision-making across sales, operations, finance, and marketing by delivering clear analysis, forecasting, and performance reporting. You'll work across a broad range of commercial and financial data, identifying trends, opportunities, and risks while helping optimise pricing strategies, customer engagement, occupancy performance, and profitability. The position also offers exposure to forecasting ownership, strategic projects, and MA support within a fast-paced and evolving environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyse sales, occupancy, pricing, customer, and operational data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
- Produce weekly, monthly, and ad hoc reports, dashboards, and commercial insights for senior stakeholders.
- Monitor KPI performance and provide early warnings where targets may not be achieved.
- Support pricing strategy development through competitor analysis, customer behaviour insights, and market trend evaluation.
- Develop customer profiles and analyse churn, customer value, and engagement metrics.
- Collaborate with operational, marketing, and technical teams to improve reporting accuracy and data integrity.
- Support automation and enhancement of reporting processes using Excel, Power BI, and other analytical tools.
- Recommend and help implement data-driven sales and marketing strategies to improve revenue and store performance.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of pricing changes, promotions, and marketing campaigns.
- Support budgeting and forecasting processes, including ownership and development of forecasting models.
- Provide analytical and financial support relating to acquisitions, due diligence, and integration activity.
- Ensure compliance with company data policies and data protection requirements.
Candidate Profile
- Degree qualified in a relevant discipline.
- Previous experience within a commercial finance, analytical, or business intelligence role.
- Strong analytical and numerical capability with excellent attention to detail.
- Advanced Excel skills and experience using Power BI.
- Ability to interpret complex data and present findings clearly to both operational and senior leadership audiences.
- Experience supporting budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis activities.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to influence non-technical stakeholders.
- Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Naturally curious, proactive, and comfortable working independently.
- Experience within a fast-paced or acquisitive environment would be advantageous.
- Exposure to SQL, Tableau, CRM systems, or large dataset analysis would be beneficial.
