A well-established UK corporate finance advisory firm is seeking a high-calibre Associate to support senior deal professionals across a broad range of transactions, including acquisitions, disposals and growth capital mandates. This role offers a clear and accelerated pathway to senior level, making it an excellent opportunity for a fully qualified accountant looking to build a long-term career in corporate finance within a high-performance, commercially focused environment.
The Role
Working closely with senior colleagues, you will gain exposure to the full transaction lifecycle, supporting multiple live deals at any one time. The role is hands-on and fast-paced, with increasing responsibility as you develop the technical, commercial and client-facing skills required to progress. You will be trusted with meaningful work early on and encouraged to take ownership, while benefiting from close support and mentoring from experienced deal leaders.
Key Responsibilities
- Supporting senior team members across multiple live transactions
- Preparing financial analysis, valuations and forecasts
- Assisting with transaction documentation and marketing materials
- Conducting market and buyer/target research
- Managing NDAs, information flows and status reporting
- Supporting due diligence processes and data rooms
- Liaising with clients, counterparties and professional advisers
- Ensuring high standards of accuracy, responsiveness and professionalism
Ideal Profile
- Fully qualified accountant (essential)
- Strong commercial awareness and intellectual curiosity
- Bright, quick-thinking and able to learn rapidly
- Comfortable working across multiple priorities in a deal-driven environment
- Confident communicator with strong interpersonal skills
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a proactive, “can-do” attitude
