Working hours: 5 days per week including at least one weekend day per week. Hours will fall between the times of 8.00am and 5.00pm, with an earlier finish of around 4.00pm in the winter season.

Due to an increase in demand we are now looking to recruit an experienced Chef in our Dedham based tearoom. We are seeking those that are flexible and able to cover at least one weekend day per week. We are ideally seeking someone with previous experience so they can hit the ground running. We are looking for great people to join us to uphold our high standards of exceptional service, ensuring our dining customers have a pleasant and comfortable experience. Our team members are role models for outstanding service and make each customer feel valued, whether they are visiting the tea room for the first or the twentieth time.
Responsibilities (but not limited to):
- Keeping the everyday kitchen operations running smoothly
- Food preparation including meals, cakes, and hot and cold drinks
- The opportunity to add your own creative flair by creating specials
- Maintaining excellent standards of personal, food and kitchen hygiene
- Adapting and producing dishes to meet special dietary, religious and allergenic requirements
- Communicating internally and externally with customers and colleagues
