Our Personal Injury team is a well‑established department acting for clients both locally and nationally. Based in our Lincoln office, with hybrid working options available, the team works closely with colleagues across the wider firm to handle a broad range of personal injury matters, including specialist and complex high‑value claims from a variety of sources, such as military and motorbike claims. We pride ourselves on providing exceptional client care and representing clients in high‑value and sensitive matters within a supportive, collaborative environment.
We are seeking a 2PQE+ Personal Injury Lawyer (Solicitor or Legal Executive) with a background in litigation to join the team. You will play a key role in managing a varied caseload, assisting on complex, high‑value matters and contributing to the continued growth of the department. Experience of handling motorbike and/or military claims would be advantageous but is not essential.
Key Responsibilities- Managing your own caseload of Personal Injury litigation matters, ensuring cases progress efficiently and in the client’s best interests from inception to settlement.
- Preparing high‑quality legal documents, correspondence and evidence assessments, while maintaining accurate electronic files and accurate time recording.
- Providing clear, regular communication to clients, including updates on case progress, costs and next steps.
- Attending court, conducting advocacy where appropriate, or instructing counsel on more complex cases.
