The Role: Key Account Manager

As a Key Account Manager, you’ll be responsible for managing and expanding a portfolio of strategic clients. You\\\’ll work closely with existing customers to identify growth opportunities, while also developing new business across both established and untapped markets. This is a client-facing role where building trust and long-term relationships is key.

Your Main Responsibilities:

  • Drive profitable sales growth across your customer portfolio
  • Build and maintain strong multilevel relationships with key accounts
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities using WSS tools and databases
  • Collaborate with Technical Sales Managers and Business Development teams to meet shared goals
  • Plan and execute measurable sales activities to achieve set targets
  • Use Salesforce and Power BI to track progress and uncover growth opportunities
  • Ensure accurate CRM data and proactive contract and credit management
  • Foster team spirit and align closely with internal teams including Customer Service, Port Service Engineers, and Technical Solutions

What We’re Looking For:

  • Experience in international B2B sales – ideally technical or maritime
  • A strong commercial mindset and customer-focused approach
  • Background in maritime or marine engineering is a plus (e.g., sailing experience, marine certification)
  • Confident negotiator with a track record of delivering results
  • Comfortable working independently and managing your time effectively
  • Fluent in English
