About Wilgot

Wilgot is building the category-defining Agentic Product Optimization (APO) platform for e-commerce. We are addressing the "adapt-or-die" reality that brands face as search shifts from keyword-matching to AI-driven discovery in interfaces like ChatGPT and Google AI Mode. Recognized by Dawn Capital as one of the top AI startups redefining e-commerce, our platform automates the repositioning of product catalogs for global, recognized brands, ensuring every product finds its buyer through intelligent content.

What we do

Wilgot provides the intelligence layer that transforms "thin" metadata into Intelligent Content optimized for the era of Agentic Commerce.

Our Core AI Loop:

  • Discover: Leverage AI and data analysis (customer queries, first-party data, Google, ChatGPT, Perplexity) across 100+ markets to identify hidden demand, language attributes, and purchase signals. This phase focuses on turning raw data into clear, actionable content strategy.
  • Generate: Build and deploy systems that create high-quality, structured, and intent-aligned product content (titles, descriptions, attributes, FAQs) natively in 100+ languages. The goal is to optimize content for both user conversion and interpretation/recommendation by AI search systems.
  • Iterate: Design and manage a continuous feedback and optimization system. Monitor product performance across major search platforms, then programmatically regenerate and improve content based on visibility, engagement, and conversion data to maintain optimal relevance and discoverability.

The Role

Having validated our proprietary AI engine, we are now scaling it into a sophisticated, autonomous agentic platform. As a Senior AI Engineer, you will transition from AI theory to solving tangible, high-scale engineering challenges. You will work alongside our founding team and our Founding AI Scientist (PhD in Reinforcement Learning) to translate cutting-edge research into enterprise-scale production features.

Key Responsibilities

  • Scale Agentic Architectures: Advance existing workflows into multi-agent systems capable of autonomous reasoning, state management, and self-correction.
  • Model Development & Fine-Tuning: Lead the full lifecycle, from designing training strategies and curating high-quality datasets to executing model fine-tuning.
  • Advanced Feature Engineering: Build pipelines that leverage LLMs to extract latent product attributes and consumer intent signals from unstructured data.
  • System Observability & Reliability: Implement evaluation frameworks to monitor model performance, hallucination rates, and direct business impact.
  • Technical Leadership: Influence our technical stack and help define the engineering culture of a rapidly scaling startup.

Requirements

  • Technical Depth: Extensive ML engineering experience with a deep understanding of LLM architecture, training and fine-tuning (you don't just call APIs). You know how to use AI to generate features that drive performance, moving beyond basic metadata into deep semantic understanding.
  • Agentic Systems: Proven experience with agentic frameworks (e.g., LangGraph, PydanticAI) and managing memory and tool-calling in production.
  • Engineering Mindset: Ability to write clean, testable Python and familiarity with modern MLOps stacks.
  • Product Experience: Experience shipping ML systems in production for real users, with an experimental mindset and high bar for AI ethics.

Why Join Wilgot?

  • Practical AI at Scale: Solve real-world, high-scale AI problems for global brands.
  • High Impact Team: Join a small, lean, high-growth team. You'll have significant influence on the technical stack and trajectory with no bureaucracy. You aren't joining a machine, you are part of building it.
  • Flexible Remote-First: Work remotely with autonomy, prioritising deep work. Or from one of our hubs in Stockholm or London. We promote in-person collaboration with regular full-team offsites.
  • Generous Ownership: Receive a generous equity package, ensuring true ownership and a significant stake in the company's value as we scale globally.
  • Your choice of equipment: We provide a top-tier tech budget for your preferred hardware and home-office setup, ensuring you have the best tools for the job.
