About the Role:
We are looking for a user experience researcher who is passionate about applying their research skills to shape user experiences across scholarly publishing. Working alongside researchers, strategists, designers, product and technology teams, you will combine a rigorous understanding of research methods with a collaborative approach to ensure that product strategy and design are based on a solid foundation of research.
How you will make an impact:
- Plan and execute qualitative and quantitative research studies, including user interviews, surveys, usability testing, analytics, and unmoderated studies to gather findings and insights.
- Partner with strategists, designers, product and engineering teams to understand business goals and user needs. Work closely with these cross-functional teams to formulate research plans and translate research findings into actionable recommendations.
- Synthesize research findings, insights, and recommendations that will guide product and design decisions. Share research reports and presentations with stakeholders and the wider organization.
- Contribute to the direction of strategic initiatives based on insights learned from research.
- Continuously monitor user feedback and update appropriate artifacts. (e.g., journey maps, personas)
- Champion the voice of the user throughout the company through cross-functional team collaboration, shared learning, and presentations.
