About the Role: We are looking for a Programme Manager to act as the operational backbone of Wiley's Clinical Outcome Assessment (COA) business, part of our AI and Data Analytics organisation. The role coordinates execution across the COA business, owns programme reporting to senior leadership, manages the operational rhythm of our strategic delivery partnership, and keeps cross-functional dependencies on track. It is a hub role that touches every function in the business and reports to the Senior Director, Clinical Outcome Assessments.

Job Responsibilities

  • Own the COA programme plan, tracking execution across all workstreams against defined milestones, and maintain the programme dashboard and reporting cadence.
  • Identify interdependencies, risks, and blockers early, and drive resolution through the appropriate workstream owners.
  • Manage the operational rhythm of the strategic delivery partnership, including alignment meetings, deliverable tracking, internal stakeholder coordination, and issue escalation.
  • Coordinate platform and product development timelines with commercial, partnership, and scientific milestones to keep delivery aligned across teams.
  • Produce regular status reports for senior leadership, manage the Finance check-in cadence, and track budget against plan.
  • Compile reporting and evidence packs for senior governance reviews, drawing input from marketing, revenue operations, finance, and product teams.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
  • 5+ years in programme or project management, ideally in a commercial or product-led environment.
  • Demonstrated experience managing complex multi-workstream programmes with cross-functional dependencies.
  • Experience working with external partners or vendors at an operational level.
  • Comfortable with financial tracking, budget management, and performance reporting.
  • Exceptional organisational skills and the ability to track multiple parallel workstreams without losing detail.
  • Strong written communication, particularly for senior leadership reporting.
  • Ability to identify and escalate risks early, and to influence across teams without formal authority.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Project management qualification such as PMP or PRINCE2.
  • Experience in pharmaceutical, life sciences, healthcare data, or scientific publishing.
  • Experience managing structured governance programmes with regular senior leadership reviews.
  • Prior experience coordinating Contract Research Organisation (CRO) or technology partnerships.
  • Familiarity with programme management tools such as Jira or Asana.
  • Working knowledge of Salesforce or equivalent CRM for pipeline coordination.
  • Experience operating in a fast-moving environment.
