Acting as the central coordination point, the Delivery Traffic Manager monitors team workload and capacity, assigns work to the right resource, and keeps projects moving to deadline.
The role escalates delayed marketing campaigns, helps build contingency plans when campaign KPIs are off track, and gives the leadership team clear visibility of capacity and delivery risk.
The Delivery Traffic Manager works closely with Advertising Operations, Delivery, and Marketing teams; with the Events, Science Content, and IME project managers responsible for delivering those items; and with campaign managers and third‑party email coding suppliers.
Working collaboratively across these teams, the role helps achieve strategic objectives and drive team success through comprehensive operations management, technology leadership, and process optimisation across all campaign functions.

- Maintain a clear, up‑to‑date view of project status, timelines, and dependencies, and act as the central point of contact for work in progress.
- Identify bottlenecks and at‑risk timelines early; escalate delayed marketing campaigns to the Senior Director, Delivery and relevant stakeholders with context and options.
- Monitor campaigns against agreed KPIs and help develop and coordinate contingency plans when performance or delivery is off track.
- Establish and maintain traffic and resource management processes, intake forms, and reporting that improve workflow efficiency and forecasting.
- Required Qualifications
- Experience as a Traffic Manager, resource manager, or project/workflow coordinator in an agency, studio, in‑house creative, or marketing delivery environment.
- Proven ability to manage capacity and schedule work across multiple teams and concurrent projects under competing deadlines.
- Strong organisational and prioritisation skills, with a structured approach to intake, allocation, and tracking.
- Confident monitoring projects against deadlines and KPIs, identifying risk early, and driving issues to resolution.
- Clear, credible written and verbal communication – able to coordinate across teams, elevate effectively, and brief senior stakeholders.
- Familiarity with project, traffic, or resource‑management tools (e. g. Asana, Workfront, Monday. com, or equivalent).
- Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in an agency environment.
- Traffic or resource management experience in a B2B publishing or media environment.
- Exposure to advertising operations, society partnerships, events, or scientific/medical (IME) content delivery.
