The Associate Solutions Owner works collaboratively with Editorial Management Solutions team members and manuscript management subject matter experts (SME) to draft business and/or system requirements for a product, feature, or service. They partner closely with Senior Solutions Managers who initiate these efforts.

The Associate Solutions Owner is responsible for ensuring all customer and business workflow needs are captured with acceptance criteria, and they act as a point of contact through technical implementation, testing, and roll-out to end-users. They contribute to business case evaluation and articulation, ensure that technical solutions are scalable, and sign-off on acceptance of the delivered solution.

How you will make an impact:

  • Support the Pre-Alignment efforts throughout the SSPR Transformation project
  • Contribute to writing requirements for products, features and services
  • Work alongside and support the Solutions Owner in managing the implementation of Workflow and Process solutions
  • Provide expert support to colleagues and users to ensure the success of new Workflows and Processes
  • Work across Teams both within Editorial Excellence and outside to evaluate needs and drive projects forward

We are looking for people who have:

  • Ability to develop partnerships and work collaboratively in an agile way to achieve goals
  • Has product development or business analyst experience
  • Expertise in data analysis and the concept/application of User Acceptance Testing
  • Experience working in cross-functional teams or projects and taking the lead on project work with members across the business
  • Have strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Are proficient with MS Office (esp. Excel; Outlook)
  • Are self-motivated, able to work independently, prioritize and make decisions within given parameters
  • Can work cooperatively with others across the organization to achieve shared objectives
  • Are persists in accomplishing objectives despite obstacles and setbacks
