About the Role
We are seeking an operationally focused AI Content Operations Manager to build and scale the content management infrastructure supporting our growing AI licensing business. This role is responsible for designing repeatable processes, managing cross‑functional projects, and operationalizing the full lifecycle of content preparation—from intake through delivery to licensees.
You will serve as the operational backbone connecting high‑quality academic and professional content with technology companies and corporate clients implementing Large Language Model (LLM) and retrieval‑augmented generation (RAG) applications. Success means building scalable operational frameworks that enable efficient content partner onboarding, maintain pipeline velocity, and ensure consistent quality standards as our licensing business grows.
Responsibilities
- Design, document, and implement standardized workflows for content intake, evaluation, partner onboarding, and preparation for licensing across Wiley and partner content sources.
- Manage the end‑to‑end content pipeline from intake through licensee‑ready delivery, providing regular pipeline reporting, capacity forecasting, and status updates to leadership.
- Lead partner content onboarding post‑signature, coordinating across technical, product, and account management teams.
- Work closely with product management and business development to create customized content portfolios for customers.
- Establish quality control checkpoints, service level agreements, and content readiness criteria to monitor pipeline velocity and reduce cycle time.
- Develop scalable frameworks and operational playbooks to accommodate growing partner and content volume.
- Collaborate with academic and research publishers to standardize metadata and content formatting while maintaining comprehensive content databases.
Qualifications
- Proven ability to design and implement scalable operational processes with project management experience in content operations, academic publishing, or information services.
- Demonstrated success managing cross‑functional projects with multiple stakeholders in complex environments.
- Detail‑oriented professional with strong organizational capabilities and experience analyzing and categorizing large volumes of content efficiently.
- Proficiency with database management, metadata standards, and data quality practices combined with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
