About the Role: We are looking for an Account Manager to manage and grow Clinical Outcome Assessment (COA) Solutions revenue across a portfolio of pharmaceutical, Contract Research Organisation (CRO), and academic sponsor accounts. The role handles per-study licensing, renewals, solution bundling, and customer relationship management across both Wiley direct and partner-originated deals. The role works alongside the broader COA Solutions commercial team and our strategic delivery partner. The role reports to the Senior Manager, COA Solutions.

Job Responsibilities

  • Manage a portfolio of COA licensing and solutions accounts, handling the full deal cycle from initial enquiry through scoping, pricing, negotiation, and close.
  • Process per-study licence agreements, multi-territory arrangements, and solution bundles.
  • Develop and maintain customer relationships across pharmaceutical, CRO, and academic sponsor accounts, identifying expansion opportunities through additional instruments, languages, or service add-ons.
  • Coordinate with our strategic delivery partner on deals originated through the co-sell channel, ensuring the Wiley commercial position is managed and service delivery is seamless.
  • Maintain accurate pipeline and deal data in Salesforce, providing regular reporting on deal activity, pricing trends, and customer feedback.
  • Work alongside the broader COA Solutions commercial team to deliver against revenue targets.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
  • 3+ years in licensing, sales, or account management, ideally in publishing, life sciences, or intellectual-property-related industries.
  • Demonstrated experience managing a deal pipeline and working to revenue targets.
  • Strong customer relationship management skills.
  • Ability to scope, price, and negotiate licensing agreements.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple deals simultaneously.
  • Proficient with Salesforce or equivalent CRM.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in pharmaceutical licensing, clinical trial services, or copyright and intellectual property management.
  • Working knowledge of Clinical Outcome Assessment (COA) instruments and their role in clinical trials.
  • Knowledge of multi-territory licensing arrangements.
  • Familiarity with the pharmaceutical and CRO landscape.
  • Experience working in a fast-moving commercial environment.
  • Additional languages an advantage.
