Wildwood Technical Recruitment is working with a client in Portsmouth who is looking for a reliable Pick and Place Operator to join their team.

Location: Portsmouth

Pay: £13.50 - £15.00 per hour

Type: Temporary role for 5-6 months, with the possibility of becoming permanent for the right candidate

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate Pick and Place machinery to assemble components
  • Assist with surface mount assembly tasks
  • Use Microsoft Excel for basic data handling
  • Support with screen printing when needed (experience is a plus)
  • Ensure all assembly work meets quality standards

What We're Looking For:

  • Experience using Pick and Place machinery
  • Some familiarity with surface mount assembly
  • Comfortable using Microsoft Excel
  • Experience with screen printing is beneficial but not essential

Hours:

  • Monday to Thursday: 7:30 am - 3:45 pm
  • Friday: 7:30 am - 2:30 pm
  • 40 hours per week
