We are looking for an Electronics Production Assembler for an exciting new role with an electronics manufacturer in Waterlooville. This is a hands-on role that involves both board-level assembly and full box builds.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electronic assembly, a positive, proactive attitude, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities:- PCBA assembly including SMT and PTH soldering
- Cable and electromechanical assembly using crimp tools
- Rework and adjustments on PCBAs
- Working from customer BOMs and technical drawings
- Ensuring builds meet required manufacturing standards
- IPC 610 experience or knowledge (Class 2 minimum preferred)
- Confident soldering skills (PTH and SMT)
- Strong component recognition and understanding
- Able to work under a microscope with fine-pitch components
- Clear communication and good documentation skills
- Ability to manage workload and work effectively under pressure
- Inspection experience is a plus, but not essential
