JOB SCOPE
As Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for helping to develop and execute the day-to-day execution of the global marketing and communication plans across all channels, managing strategic relationships within the business group and agency partners. In partnership with the digital and business development teams you will help ensure the consistent implementation of the Wildsmith brand globally, across all marketing channels – playing a key role in building the brand’s storytelling and visual identity.
- Marketing & Communications Calendar: Support the development and implementation of the Marketing & Communications calendar, including seasonal campaign planning, partnership activation, in-store activation, visual merchandising, and PR. Work closely with business development teams to integrate wellbeing partner and retail initiatives into the overall marketing calendar (e.g., GWPs, launches).
- Partnership Programme: Develop and execute collaborative campaigns with wellbeing and retail partners across social media, newsletters, and dedicated website pages. Ideate and execute third-party brand partnerships for events, database growth, and social media engagement.
- Business Development Team Support: Support business development teams with updates on new product development and marketing initiatives. Work with the business development teams to maximise cross-marketing opportunities and ensure timely delivery of assets (such as sell-in and launch materials) in line with retail timelines. Work with wellbeing property marketing teams to ideate and execute opening activations.
- Content Creation: Collaborate with partners, internal teams and freelance content creators to deliver brand assets (such as press releases and newsletters) across all marketing channels.
- Brand Representation: Act as a brand ambassador at consumer and trade events, ensuring all touchpoints align with the creative vision. Liaise with brand experts to leverage opportunities via own and partner channels, including briefing and executing press and retailer events.
- Performance Monitoring: Conduct monthly marketing reporting to the business. Review competitor activity and skincare landscape regularly, reporting insights to the business.
- Internal Collaboration: Forge partnerships with internal stakeholders across Wildsmith’s partner companies. Support Wildsmith’s sustainability commitments, including ongoing work with Future Plus to improve ESG impact across climate, diversity, inclusion, social, economic, and environmental areas.
EXPERIENCE
Have at least five years’ marketing experience in a similar role, ideally within the beauty and lifestyle industry but with a passion for marketing that shines through. Be collaborative and enjoy working in an entrepreneurial environment as part of a small team; is happy to receive direction but also confident to present ideas and concepts to team members. Have outstanding attention to detail and a keen eye for sharp design, maintaining high standards at all times. Be a brand ambassador and brand guardian by ensuring that all touch points are protected and in line with the overall creative vision. Be curious; continually broadening knowledge by keeping up to date with industry innovations and our competitor activity. Be nimble and flexible in order to adapt to changing briefs.
