Key Responsibilities
- Deliver hands‑on OT intervention to learners with social, emotional and mental health needs, under supervision of the SENCO.
- Assess, plan and implement occupational therapy interventions for pupils, ensuring high standard of assessment, treatment and advice to learners and families.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary team including Speech and Language Therapist, Art, Drama, Music Therapists and Clinical and Educational Psychologists.
- Provide clinical leadership and support to other staff and maintain professional development opportunities.
Working Hours
Three days per week, term time only, 30 am – 2.30 pm.
Essential Requirements
- Degree in Occupational Therapy (or related) and HCPC membership.
- Minimum 1 year qualified experience as an Occupational Therapist.
- Experience assessing and implementing OT management plans and delivering interventions.
- Knowledge of appropriate paediatric occupational therapy interventions.
- Excellent interpersonal, empathetic, assertive communication skills.

- Experience working with children and young people with social, emotional and behavioural issues.
