An excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic and skilled vegetable grower to join our small gardening team at Loch Ness as we continue to develop both our exceptional Aldourie Castle Garden and the further market garden at Clune Farm.
Our Scottish garden is designed by Tom Stuart-Smith and is part of a contemporary reimagining of a historic castle garden on a 500-acre estate on the banks of Loch Ness near Inverness. On Clune Farm, we are developing our Market Garden to enhance our ability to provide seasonal produce to all our venues across WildLand.
The position will offer an opportunity to develop and care for our vegetable and fruit area within the walled garden supplying our Chefs with fresh produce. The successful candidate will also assist the garden team in general maintenance under the guidance of an experienced Head Gardener.
Aldourie comprises of a castle garden and walled garden, which contain extensive naturalistic herbaceous plantings as well as vegetable and fruit areas. There are also glasshouses, an arboretum and parkland. Clune Farm is a relatively new asset which you will be supporting as we develop our concept.

You will be a knowledgeable and experienced vegetable grower, with a deep understanding of plant care and horticultural practices. You will approach your work with precision and consistency, staying organised and adaptable while maintaining exceptional standards. Strong communication skills will be essential for success in this role.
