About the Role

We're looking for two confident, capable, and kind-hearted individuals to share the role of Lead Information Cadette on-site at Camp Kindling & Camp Wildfire 2026. As Lead Information Cadettes, you'll each work 6-hour shifts per day (Friday–Sunday), sharing responsibility for managing the Info Cabin and leading a team of 4–5 Information Cadettes. Together, you'll support guest queries, keep operations running smoothly, and serve as the go‑to people for all things information, communication, and camper support. Full training will be provided and paid for in advance of the events, along with a paid prep day ahead of the first weekend to help you get fully set up and ready to lead confidently. This is an ideal role for someone with a strong background in customer service, who’s comfortable leading a team in a busy, festival‑style environment, and who thrives on keeping things calm, clear, and running like clockwork.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Preparing the Info Cabin ahead of each event – ensuring power, Wi‑Fi, lighting, furniture, iPads, laptops, extension cables, stationery, signage, and all other essential equipment are set up and ready to go
  • Becoming familiar with the site layout, setup, and key event details, and helping to ensure the rest of the Information Cadette team is equally well‑briefed
  • Co‑leading the daily operations of the Info Cabin (a role shared between two Leads)
  • Creating and managing shift rotas, ensuring the Info Cabin is adequately staffed throughout the 12‑hour opening period
  • Supporting camper queries, including directions, lost property, campsite information, activity schedules, complaints, and bookings for extras like the spa or Cupid’s Club
  • Guiding, motivating, and assisting the Information Cadette team throughout the event
  • Handling more complex or sensitive issues, and escalating them to senior management when needed
  • Liaising with other departments to keep information consistent and accurate
  • Maintaining a tidy, well‑stocked, and smoothly running Info Cabin at all times
  • Assisting with on‑site communications, updates and any last‑minute changes

Who We're Looking For

  • Friendly, approachable, and calm under pressure
  • Natural communicators and confident team leaders
  • Strong organisational skills – you love a well‑run shift and a tidy cabin!
  • Comfortable using basic tech (iPads, spreadsheets, as well as our event specific booking/enrolment systems – training provided)
  • Proactive problem‑solvers, with good judgement and attention to detail
  • Experienced in customer service, box office, event management or similar roles
  • Flexible, reliable, and unphased by the unexpected (rain, glitter, or both!)
  • Enjoy the outdoors and being part of something joyful and unique

The Info Cabin is open 12 hours per day, with shifts split between a small team. You’ll always have your evenings free to enjoy the magic of Camp. When you’re off‑shift, you’re welcome to take part in our walk‑up activities, and book into any credited activities with available spaces. 1 meal provided per shift. A great opportunity to step into a leadership role in a supportive, fun and one‑of‑a‑kind environment. Festival wristband and crew camping included.
