Learning and Community Engagement Manager at Marine Conservation Society

HIRING – I am recruiting for a marine education delivery officer. The One Ocean Roadshow Delivery Officer will be home-based living in the North of England. Please share to your networks to help us find the perfect candidate. This three year contract will play a vital role in inspiring and empowering communities across Northern England to take action for marine conservation. Ideally we are looking for someone with excellent organisational and presentation skills to develop, design and deliver and exciting package of marine education work including beach cleans, citizen science sessions and school workshops. The role will involve travel throughout England, engaging with diverse communities and fostering new relationships. Delivering impactful ocean literacy sessions, you will engage schools & youth groups and deliver public events, while fostering long-term connections with volunteers and citizen scientists to protect our marine heritage. You will co-develop inclusive resources, deliver educational sessions to groups of all ages and organise a range of public engagement events.
