WildHeart Belfast is a locally owned and operated early learning centre founded by registered ECE teachers. With over 85% qualified kaiako on our team and a commitment to full pay parity, we are proud to recognise and uplift excellence in teaching.

We are seeking a qualified and registered ECE teacher to join us part‑time (20–30 hours) to work across all rooms, as soon as possible. If you’re passionate about nurturing tamariki in a warm, nature‑enriched environment, this could be the perfect role for you.

We live our WildHeart values every day:

  • Whakamana – Empowerment

These values guide our teaching, our interactions, and how we partner with whānau to honour their aspirations.

What we offer

  • Full pay parity
  • A supportive, highly qualified team
  • A beautiful, nature‑rich learning environment
  • Leadership by registered teachers who understand and value the role
  • Opportunities for growth, contribution and creativity
  • A caring, community‑minded centre culture

If this sounds like you and you are keen to join our whānau you must:

  • Hold a current ECE teaching qualification and NZ teacher registration
  • Build strong, respectful relationships with tamariki and whānau
  • Bring positivity, reflection and heart to your practice
  • Be flexible to work within a team
  • Be committed to living our centre values in daily teaching

If you’re ready to join a caring, passionate team where your skills, ideas and heart truly matter, we’d love to hear from you.

Please note we are not an accredited employee, NZ residents only.
