Be part of our Wildflower Group and help us shape the next chapter of something special. At Wildflower, we’re an established and well-known early years group with a strong reputation for providing high-quality childcare and creating wonderful experiences for children and families. We’re rebranding our nurseries as Wildflower to bring our identity, culture and brand into closer alignment with the values that have always been at the heart of what we do, and Twickenham will be the first nursery to lead the way.

We’re looking for an exceptional Senior Nursery Manager with a wealth of Early Years experience, a proven track record of leadership and the ambition to make a genuine difference. This isn’t about coming in and simply keeping things ticking over. We want someone who can develop our team, strengthen our practice, grow our nursery and help bring the Wildflower values to life every day.

Your opportunity to make an impact:

  • Leading and developing your team, creating a culture where people feel valued, supported and motivated to be their best.
  • Coaching, mentoring and developing practitioners and emerging leaders across the nursery.
  • Driving exceptional Early Years practice and ensuring children receive the very best experiences.
  • Helping translate the Wildflower values into everyday practice, making sure they are reflected in everything we do.
  • Supporting the nursery through its rebrand and helping establish Twickenham as a flagship Wildflower setting.
  • Growing the nursery, strengthening its reputation within the local community and building strong relationships with existing and prospective families.
  • Identifying opportunities to improve occupancy, team performance, practice and the overall nursery experience.
  • Leading confidently on EYFS, safeguarding, compliance and quality improvement.
  • Setting clear expectations, managing performance and creating accountability while maintaining a supportive and positive culture.
  • Building a strong relationship with families and ensuring they feel genuinely connected to the nursery.
  • Working closely with the wider senior leadership team to share ideas, challenge thinking and help shape the future of Wildflower.

We’re looking for experience, leadership and ambition. You’ll ideally have significant experience managing a nursery or large Early Years setting and a strong understanding of what it takes to create a successful, high-performing environment. You’ll be someone who:

  • Has significant Nursery Management or Senior Management experience.
  • Has a wealth of knowledge across the EYFS, safeguarding and Ofsted requirements.
  • Has a proven track record of developing teams and improving practice.
  • Is confident coaching, mentoring and challenging others to reach their potential.
  • Can lead change and bring people with you.
  • Understands the operational and commercial side of running a successful nursery.
  • Has experience supporting nursery growth, occupancy or business development.
  • Is confident managing performance and having difficult conversations when necessary.
  • Builds exceptional relationships with children, families and colleagues.
  • Is commercially aware while never losing sight of what really matters, the children.
  • Is ambitious, proactive and always looking for the next opportunity to improve.

And while experience is incredibly important, so is who you are as a leader. We want someone warm, inspiring and approachable. Someone who leads with confidence but listens. Someone who can set high standards while creating an environment where people genuinely enjoy coming to work.

Why Twickenham? Because you’ll be joining us at a really exciting point in the Wildflower journey. Twickenham is the first nursery in our group to transition fully into the Wildflower brand, giving you the opportunity to play a significant role in shaping how that brand is experienced by children, families and our team. You won’t be expected to do it alone. You’ll have the support of our wider senior leadership team, but we want you to bring your own experience, ideas and leadership style to the table. We want you to challenge us. We want you to make things better. And we want you to help us create a nursery that sets the standard for the rest of the Wildflower group.

What we offer:

  • £50,000 starting salary.
  • 35 days' annual leave, including bank holidays and Christmas closure.
  • Your birthday off.
  • A dedicated wellbeing day.
  • At least 80% childcare discount.
  • Access to our team engagement platform, connecting you with colleagues across the group.
  • Sovereign Healthcare Programme.
  • Employee Assistance Programme.
  • Paid training, including £10 for every non-mandatory course completed.
  • High street discounts.
  • Recognition and rewards for outstanding contribution.
  • Support with qualifications, CPD and your own career development.
  • Genuine opportunities to progress as Wildflower continues to grow.

Ready to lead the next chapter? We’re not looking for someone who simply wants another Senior Nursery Manager role. We’re looking for someone who wants to make their mark. Someone with the experience to lead a team, the ambition to grow a nursery and the vision to help us bring Wildflower to life. If you’re ready to take everything you’ve learnt throughout your Early Years career and use it to help shape the future of an established group entering an exciting new chapter, we’d love to hear from you. Come and be part of Wildflower. Come and help us grow something extraordinary.
