Hours: Permanent, 15 hours per week | Monday to Friday, 11am–2pm

Are you a caring, enthusiastic and reliable individual who loves working with children? Are you looking for a part-time opportunity that fits around your lifestyle? We are looking for a Lunch Cover Practitioner to join our friendly team at Wildflower at Murrayfield!

At Wildflower, we believe every little moment matters, and lunchtime is no exception. We are looking for someone who can help make mealtimes a happy, positive and enjoyable part of every child's day.

About the Role

This is a fantastic opportunity to become a permanent member of our nursery team, supporting our practitioners during the busy lunchtime period and helping to create a calm, welcoming and nurturing environment for our children.

Working Monday to Friday, 11am–2pm, your responsibilities will include:

• Supporting children during mealtimes, encouraging independence, confidence and positive eating habits.

• Helping children develop their social skills through conversation and interaction.

• Supporting children's personal care and wellbeing throughout the day.

• Assisting with daily routines, including transitions between lunch, rest and play.

• Creating a positive, calm and welcoming environment for all children.

• Working collaboratively with the wider nursery team to ensure every child receives the care and attention they deserve.

We are looking for someone who is warm, approachable, patient and enthusiastic. Previous childcare experience or a relevant qualification would be beneficial, but most importantly, you will have a genuine passion for supporting children's development and wellbeing.
