About Wildfire
Wildfire is the leading brand engagement solution for Discord communities â the place where Gen Z lives, plays, and connects. We combine scale, reporting, authenticity, communityâfirst creative, proprietary insight, and clear commercial outcomes, with average brand lift between 11â50%.
The role
We are hiring a Commercial Director, EMEA to lead sales across EMEA and own agencyâdriven revenue from teams located outside the US. This senior, revenueâowning sales role requires sourcing, pitching, negotiating and closing new business, while expanding existing agency relationships into new teams, regions and budget lines, focusing on London agencies for nonâendemic brands and game developers worldwide outside the US. Success is measured by new revenue generated and expanded spend, not account servicing.
You will report into our SVP of Sales (based in Chicago) and work closely with the USâbased sales team on global accounts. Spend one day per week in the London office working directly with the CEO. The role is autonomous.
What youâll be responsible for
- Own and deliver an annual sales target.
- Lead all agencyâdriven sales activity across EMEA and any other nonâUS regions where relevant.
- Drive netânew revenue through existing and new media agency relationships.
- Build a predictable, repeatable EMEA sales pipeline to grow out your own team.
- Proactively source new opportunities â this is not an inbound or servicing role.
- Expand existing agency relationships by selling into additional planning and activation teams, new markets and regions, and new categories and briefs.
- Build multiâthreaded relationships with planners, strategists, investment teams and budget holders.
- Navigate complex agency structures to unlock meaningful spend.
- Position Wildfire as a strategic gaming partner, not a tactical media line.
- Close sixâfigure+ campaign budgets and longerâterm partnerships.
- Own the full sales cycle: prospecting, discovery, pitch, negotiation and close.
- Maintain a clean, credible pipeline and accurate forecasts.
- Lead commercial negotiations, pricing and deal structures in collaboration with leadership.
- Work closely with campaigns and strategy teams to ensure scalable, highâquality delivery.
Requirements
Who you are
- A senior sales operator with fantastic agency relationships in London and EMEA.
- Deeply experienced selling branded content and/or other nonâprogrammatic solutions into media agencies, ideally within gaming or gamingâadjacent categories.
- Comfortable leading senior agency conversations independently.
- Commercially sharp, outcomeâdriven and highly autonomous.
- Remoteâfirst and able to hand over campaigns to be fulfilled exhaustively through documentation and following process.
- Energised by building revenue and expanding opportunity within a fastâgrowing company.
Experience weâre looking for
- 8â10+ years in sales roles within gaming, digital media or creator economy.
- Gaming & startup experience a must.
- Proven track record of new business generation and account expansion.
- Strong understanding of agency planning, buying and investment structures.
- International agency experience across EMEA (and ideally global accounts).
- Familiarity with fast sales cycles â ability to close business in 3 months.
- Some working knowledge of Discord.
- Ability to sell to gaming endemics and nonâendemics.
Benefits
- Work From Home.
- Training & Development.
