Location: London
Reports to: SVP of Sales
The role
We’re hiring a Commercial Director, EMEA to lead sales across EMEA and own agency‑driven revenue from teams located outside the US. This is a senior, revenue‑owning sales role. You will be responsible for sourcing, pitching, negotiating and closing new business, while expanding existing agency relationships into new teams, regions and budget lines, focusing on London agencies for non‑endemic brands and game developers across the world outside the US.
While you will take ownership of existing agency relationships, success in this role is measured by new revenue generated and expanded spend, not account servicing. You will report into our SVP of Sales (based in Chicago), work closely with our US‑based sales team on global accounts, and spend one day per week in the London office working directly with the CEO, who will be available to support on key pitches and strategic deals where it adds value, but this role is designed to be autonomous.
What you’ll be responsible for:
- Leading EMEA sales
- Own and deliver an annual sales target
- Lead all agency‑driven sales activity across EMEA and any other non‑US regions where relevant
- Drive net‑new revenue through existing and new media agency relationships
- Build a predictable, repeatable EMEA sales pipeline to grow out your own team
New business & expansion sales
- Proactively source new opportunities: this is not an inbound or servicing role
- Expand existing agency relationships by selling into additional planning and activation teams, new markets and regions, and new categories and briefs
- Convert test campaigns into repeat, multi‑market and annual commitments
- Build multi‑threaded relationships with planners, strategists, investment teams and budget holders
- Navigate complex agency structures to unlock meaningful spend
- Position Wildfire as a strategic gaming partner, not a tactical media line
- Close six‑figure+ campaign budgets and longer‑term partnerships
Deal ownership & execution
- Own the full sales cycle: prospecting, discovery, pitch, negotiation and close
- Maintain a clean, credible pipeline and accurate forecasts
- Lead commercial negotiations, pricing and deal structures in collaboration with leadership
- Work closely with campaigns and strategy teams to ensure scalable, high‑quality delivery
Requirements – Who you are
- A senior sales operator with fantastic agency relationships in London and EMEA
- Deeply experienced selling branded content and/or other non‑programmatic solutions into media agencies, ideally within gaming or gaming‑adjacent categories
- Comfortable leading senior agency conversations independently
- Commercially sharp, outcome‑driven and highly autonomous
- Remote‑first and able to hand over campaigns to be fulfilled exhaustively through documentation and following process
- Energised by building revenue and expanding opportunity within a fast‑growing company
- We will likely already know you or have a high number of mutuals given your respect and status in the industry
Experience we’re looking for:
- 8–10+ years in sales roles within gaming, digital media or creator economy
- Gaming & startup experience a must
- Proven track record of new business generation and account expansion
- Strong understanding of agency planning, buying and investment structures
- International agency experience across EMEA (and ideally global accounts)
- Familiarity with fast sales cycles – ability to close business in 3 months
- Some working knowledge of Discord
- Ability to sell to gaming endemics and non‑endemics
Benefits
- Work From Home
- Training & Development
