We are looking for a talented and passionate Chef de Partie to join our kitchen team at Wilderness Reserve, a unique luxury estate set within thousands of acres of Suffolk countryside. Working from our Estate Kitchen, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional food experiences across our properties - from intimate in-house dining to large-scale events and celebrations. This is an exciting opportunity for a driven chef who thrives in a dynamic environment and takes pride in high standards, creativity, and consistency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Preparing and cooking high-quality dishes in line with our menus and standards
  • Managing your section efficiently during service
  • Supporting the Sous Chef and Head Chef with daily kitchen operations
  • Ensuring food safety, hygiene, and cleanliness standards are consistently met
  • Assisting with stock control, ordering, and minimising waste
  • Contributing ideas to menu development and seasonal offerings
  • Supporting across different service styles, including events, private dining, and estate-wide catering

Requirements

  • Previous experience as a Chef de Partie or strong Commis Chef ready to step up
  • Passion for fresh, seasonal, and locally sourced ingredients
  • Strong organisational skills and ability to work under pressure
  • A team player with a positive and proactive attitude
  • Good understanding of food safety and hygiene regulations
  • Flexibility to work across a varied schedule, including evenings and weekends
