We're looking for our next Food & Beverage Host to join our team. This isn't a traditional restaurant role. It's a varied, guest-facing position where you'll help deliver our buffet breakfast, prepare and serve drinks and light snacks from our bar, maintain welcoming public spaces, and assist guests throughout their stay. What You'll Be Doing
- Deliver Great Food & Beverage Experiences: Prepare, replenish and maintain our buffet breakfast, serve drinks from the bar, prepare items from our snack menu, and ensure every guest enjoys friendly, efficient service throughout the day.
- Be There for Our Guests: You'll spend much of your day interacting with guests, answering questions, fulfilling requests, recommending local attractions, and helping create memorable stays.
- Keep Our Spaces Looking Their Best: Take pride in maintaining clean, well-presented breakfast, bar, and lounge areas.
- Support Guest Requests: Work closely with Reception and Housekeeping to deliver guest amenities, assist with room requests, and respond quickly to guest needs.
- Thrive in a Fast-Paced Environment: Every shift is different. You could be setting up breakfast, serving coffee and cocktails, preparing snacks, restocking supplies, assisting with guest enquiries, delivering room requests, or preparing the bar for evening service.
- Work as One Team: Support colleagues across departments whenever needed, helping create a seamless experience for every guest while contributing to a positive team culture.
- Drive Continuous Improvement: We're always looking for ways to improve. Bring ideas, support your teammates, and help us continually raise the standard of our guest experience.
What We're Looking For
- Previous experience in hospitality, food & beverage, customer service, cafés, bars, hotels or retail is beneficial but not essential – full training will be provided.
- A genuine passion for delivering excellent guest service.
- A friendly, positive attitude and confidence interacting with people from around the world.
- Someone who enjoys a varied role and is happy to support different areas of the operation.
- The ability to multitask and stay organised in a busy environment.
- A proactive approach with strong attention to cleanliness, presentation and detail.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Flexibility to work mornings, evenings, weekends and public holidays as required.
