We require the services of a Structural Design Engineer with a Rail Structures background for various schemes, based in Manchester.
Responsibilities and types of projects:
- Bridge maintenance and strengthening of rail structures
- Design of retaining structures and platform extensions
- Lineside structures
- Embankment and cutting stabilisation
- Culvert lining and replacement
- Scour protection
- Tunnel maintenance and strengthening
- All works designed and delivered in accordance with all relevant technical standards.
Minimum Requirements:
- The Structural Design Engineer should hold an engineering degree or equivalent industry recognised qualification.
- Minimum 3 years relevant post Graduate experience of producing Engineering designs.
- Must be able to work independently and be able to produce pragmatic designs to programme.
- Hold full UK driving licence and have use of their own vehicle.
The role will be based in Manchester with a hybrid working arrangement (Three days office / two days remote per week).
