We require the professional services of a technical support officer to assist with the planning and project management of a range of streetlighting and signage maintenance schemes. The role will be embedded within a Network Asset maintenance Team based in Stockport.
The technical support officer will need to have a good knowledge of asset management systems and familiarity with construction practices, preferably within a highways environment.
Responsibilities:- Checking the estimates and accuracy of contractor accounts before payment in Confirm and SAP.
- Monitoring of scheme budgets.
- Producing stat drawings and other project related documents.
- Producing quality system flow diagrams and work instructions for the team.
- Liaising with recovery team for damaged equipment.
- Training and support on systems will be provided where necessary.
The working pattern required is Monday to Friday for 40 hours per week, with some flexible working. Due to the specific requirements and demands of this role, hybrid working is not available for this position. The successful candidate will be required to work exclusively from Stockport.
