The predicted salary is between 40500 - 49500 £ per year.

We are looking for a Street Lighting Engineer to assist with the delivery of the final stages of a large-scale LED replacement project. The final stages cover the upgrade of illuminated signs and decorative lighting installations. The role will require frequent site visits.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Site inspection, scoping work, ordering, liaising with contractor;
  • Assist with updates for contractor meetings;
  • Provide supporting information for schemes delivered by the lighting & sign maintenance team including the LED project;
  • Attend new development meetings;
  • Mark out for new work (column installations and vehicle crossings);
  • Attend meetings on site and online as required;
  • Checking the estimates and accuracy of contractor accounts before payment in Confirm and SAP;
  • Monitoring of scheme budgets;
  • Producing stat drawings and other project related documents;
  • Liaising with recovery team for damaged equipment.

Qualifications:

  • HNC/HND or equivalent in electrical engineering, or related discipline.

The Street Lighting Engineer role will be responsible for providing the following services on weekdays (Monday to Friday) between 7.30am and 4.00pm.
