We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to support a Major projects team with the delivery of a rail station redevelopment project.
Responsibilities:
- Support the management of complex stakeholder relationships.
- Strategic management of project information flows between the delivery team and the client.
- Supporting the public and stakeholder consultation process for the proposed station redevelopment, access packages etc.
- Overseeing the development of cost estimates, budget monitoring, review of contractors’ valuations/invoices and production of spend profiles.
- During the construction period of schemes attend site on a regular basis to review progress, quality, site management and liaise with the contractors to programme future work.
- Ensuring that accurate financial information (including forecasting) is provided in relation to ensuring the services business objectives are met.
Qualifications:
- Experience of working as a client-side Project Manager / Programme Manager through delivery stages of projects and be suitably qualified.
- Experience in project managing rail station development or similar schemes through feasibility to construction.
- Experience of providing leadership within a complex partnering environment.
- Experience of developing and implementing risk management strategies.
