The Role
We are seeking a Senior Bridge Engineer to join our Liverpool office. This is an exciting opportunity for a technically strong engineer looking to take the next step in their career. You will be responsible for managing projects from concept to completion, delivering a wide variety of bridge and structure schemes, and mentoring junior members of the team.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and deliver bridge and structures projects
- Review and approve design calculations, drawings, and specifications
- Carry out bridge inspections and technical assessments
- Liaise with clients and contractors
- Mentor and support junior engineers
Candidate Requirements
- Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
- Extensive experience in bridge design and assessment
- Strong knowledge of DMRB, MCHW, and other relevant design standards
- Experience with structural calculations, design drawings, and specifications
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills
