We welcome applicants with no previous experience who have a genuine interest in the role, full training would be provided.
- Installation of network infrastructure, including external underground/overhead telecoms cabling, internal cable installation, and supporting infrastructure (e.g. splices, fibre terminals, patch panels, cabinets).
- Assist with underground telecoms duct surveys and route proving based on existing duct network plans, rode and roping activities, and network planning.
- Report progress, defects, and blockages to the operations team.
- Installation of high-speed radio links, working from a MEWP (Cherry-picker) or on roof-tops.
- Assist with installation/maintenance projects and general housekeeping within our datacentre/network facilities.
- The role will involve some out of normal hours working.
