Since 1972 we have been providing our partners with dedicated licensing and marketing professionals and fully integrated retail, creative & product development, legal and accounting services.
As a member of the Creative Services team, the Product Creative blends creative support with consumer product development for the licensee base within their cluster, reporting to the Regional PD Lead. The role requires a candidate who is inquisitive about product trends in the market, coordinating with local commercial teams, global Creative teams, and European & Asian designers.
Creative Support
- Identify trends and develop inspirational materials across key categories such as apparel, accessories, FMCG, toys & home.
- Utilize WGSN to provide weekly updates on emerging themes.
- Conduct scheduled comp shopping, store checks and competitor benchmarking.
- Generate creative guidance and compelling category mock‑ups and visualizations for pitch materials to inspire licensees and new consumer product ranges.
Product Development
- Manage the end‑to‑end approvals process and ensure all product submissions follow brand processes.
- Onboard and run sessions with new and existing licensees.
- Drive brand engagement for titles such as Peanuts, Teletubbies, In the Night Garden, and others via style guide refreshers.
- Deliver weekly updates to the Regional PD Lead with reports on licensee developments, status and asset updates.
- Support PDM and Regional Lead with daily management of the sample cupboard and review of physical production samples.
Project Management
- Liaise with licensors to ensure feedback is appropriate and solution‑driven.
- Proactively manage licensee range development, identifying gaps in article development and standard of execution.
- Maintain Monday.com listings for creative work undertaken.
- Provide training and guidance on systems such as Mediabox as required.
- Manage and review quarterly licensee reports highlighting selected designs and purchase orders.
Qualifications
- Experience within licensing, with knowledge of consumer product development and approval processes.
- Proactive, solution‑driven mindset for meeting deadlines.
- Good understanding of consumer product categories and production limitations.
- Proficient with online approval software and reporting.
- Skilled in Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office.
- Ability to communicate clear design direction while managing stakeholders.
- Strong knowledge of licensing and popular products with a natural interest in consumer products.
- Excellent time‑management skills handling multiple projects.
- Attention to detail.
