The Project Manager (PM) will work directly with licensees, licensors, vendors, consultants, and internal stakeholders to oversee the creative development and execution of multiple Location-Based Entertainment (LBE) projects, ensuring projects are delivered on brand, on schedule, and aligned with creative and commercial objectives. The PM will be responsible for managing project timelines, approvals, reporting, stakeholder coordination, and key delivery milestones across multiple projects and partners. This role requires strong project management capability, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage complex experiential and IP-driven projects in a fast-paced international environment. In addition to core project management responsibilities, the role will also support selected business development and account management activities, helping ensure continuity between commercial discussions and project execution.

Job Description

  • Lead the creative development process for LBE projects, working closely with internal teams and external partners to meet business objectives.
  • Develop and manage project plans with internal teams, third-party vendors, and licensees, setting clear goals, deliverables, budgets, timelines, and responsibilities.
  • Manage licensing partnerships, ensuring compliance with brand standards, approval processes, project schedules, and key deliverables.
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks to ensure projects stay on brand, on time, and on budget.
  • Maintain strong working relationships and facilitate clear communication with licensors, licensees, design partners, vendors, consultants, and internal stakeholders across multiple territories and time zones.
  • Provide relevant feedback, reviews, and approvals for creative submissions across entertainment, marketing, merchandising, retail, operational, and guest experience workstreams.
  • Assist in vendor prequalification, selection, and evaluation, making recommendations as needed.
  • Track progress and provide regular updates on project activities, including managing design reviews with various vendors and coordinating stakeholder feedback and approvals.
  • Oversee the development of project processes, including responsibility assignment matrices (RACI), timelines, budgets, approvals, and other key documentation.
  • Support project delivery and launch readiness coordination across creative, operational, and partner workstreams where required.
  • Review and track IP approval processes to ensure compliance with all creative and licensing guidelines.
  • Conduct post-project assessments to evaluate creative, process, and goal achievement.
  • Assist in preparing presentations, project summaries, meeting materials, and internal reporting documentation.
  • Work collaboratively with regional licensing teams to align project activity with broader commercial objectives.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree and significant experience managing Location-Based Entertainment, themed entertainment, attractions, exhibitions, immersive experiences, hospitality, or other experiential projects.
  • Qualification in project management or equivalent professional experience in project management, themed entertainment, experiential, architecture, design, production, or related fields.
  • Proven expertise in coordinating projects through development, approvals, delivery, and launch phases within partner-facing or client-facing environments.
  • Experience working across licensors, licensees, operators, vendors, consultants, and cross-functional internal teams.
  • Strong understanding of IP brand standards, approval processes, and experiential project delivery.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to coordinate effectively across internal teams, licensors, partners, and external vendors.
  • Commercially aware, organized, and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple projects, timelines, and priorities simultaneously.
  • Comfortable operating in fast-paced, international, and evolving project environments, with a proactive and solutions-oriented approach.
  • Flexibility for international travel and the ability to work across multiple time zones and non-standard business hours as required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and project management tools.
  • Familiarity with design review processes, fit-out coordination, drawing review, or construction documentation is advantageous.
  • Experience working with branded destinations, ticketed experiences, internationally licensed projects, or IP-led consumer experiences is preferred.
