WildBounds is a Bristol-based DTC retailer specialising in outdoor and lifestyle gear and apparel – a carefully curated edit of the best products for people who live adventurously. Our sister business, Housed & Harnessed, is our UK distribution arm, representing a portfolio of innovative outdoor and lifestyle brands including Matador, Nomadix, Sunski, Crazy Creek and others.
This is a varied, hands-on role sitting across three areas of the business: logistics and operations, trade sales, and marketing. One minute you might be coordinating an inbound shipment with our freight forwarder; the next you're researching new stockist prospects, building an email campaign, or updating product content on a DTC website. You'll work closely with our management team and external sales agents, keeping the operational engine running while also playing an active role in growing our wholesale account base. It's a role with real breadth – and as the business evolves, so will the scope of what you do. This is a great opportunity for someone who is organised, commercially curious, and takes pride in doing things properly – and who has a genuine interest in the outdoors. This is a full-time position, based at our Bristol office and reports directly to the Managing Director.
Key Responsibilities
- Logistics & Operations
- Arrange inbound shipments with our freight forwarders, including requesting quotes, providing instructions and documentation, and tracking progress through to delivery.
- Maintain and update price lists and order forms, including adding new products and removing discontinued lines.
- Create orders and raise invoices accurately and promptly in our order management and accounting platforms.
- Adapt US/international catalogues and brand materials for the UK market, ensuring all trade-facing content is accurate, professional, and up to date.
- Sales Support
- Act as a reliable point of contact for trade enquiries, responding promptly and directing them appropriately.
- Support our sales agents by arranging product samples and brand materials.
- Follow up with leads generated at trade shows, ensuring timely and professional contact.
- Research and identify potential wholesale accounts across relevant retail channels.
- Conduct outreach to prospective accounts via email, phone, and LinkedIn, following up with samples and supporting information.
- DTC & Marketing
- Help maintain our DTC websites, ensuring content is current, accurate, and seasonally relevant.
- Build and manage a wholesale account email list and send regular campaigns highlighting new arrivals and clearance deals.
Requirements
Essential
- Strong written and verbal communication skills – confident reaching out to buyers and representing our brands professionally.
- Supremely organised with meticulous attention to detail, particularly when managing data, documents, and follow-ups.
- A proactive self-starter who can manage their own workload and priorities without close supervision.
- A creative problem solver – resourceful and pragmatic when faced with challenges.
- Comfortable working across multiple platforms simultaneously.
- A genuine interest in the outdoors including outdoor or lifestyle goods.
- Meets the highest standards of integrity and professionalism.
Desirable
- Experience in a B2B wholesale, trade, distribution or multi-brand environment.
- Experience coordinating inbound freight or logistics, including working with freight forwarders and tracking shipments.
- Experience conducting outbound prospecting to potential wholesale or trade accounts.
- Experience building or sending email marketing campaigns (e.g. Klaviyo, Mailchimp).
