Location: Liskeard Office
Salary: £26,227.50 - £28,500 per annum and commission (to be discussed at interview)
Role Purpose: The primary purpose of the New Business Agent is to convert call volume coming into Wildanet into sales, driving positive revenue and maximise sales opportunities, as well as making outbound calls using warm or cold lead data to convert and maximise sales to achieve targets. This will be Consumer B2C sales calling into the main Sales IVR.
Main Responsibilities: The New Business Agents will manage the inbound call volume and outbound call campaigns that have been allocated and convert leads that have come from pre-selling interest through our mass text customer campaigns. The successful candidates will maximise sales conversion and upsell and cross sell packages that match our customers’ needs and make successful outbound calling attempts to achieve individual targets.
Key Activities: While duties and responsibilities will vary, they typically include:
- Helping customers to make the move to Wildanet, making phone-based sales from Outbound cold calling as well as warmer outbound campaigns driven by the Sales & Marketing Team. This will include B2C and B2B.
- Helping customers find pre-contract solutions and processing sales via web chat.
- Ensure all orders are processed efficiently & effectively using Wildanet ordering system.
- Follow up with customers to ensure they are fully updated with order / installation progress.
- Work closely with other members of the Wildanet Team and transferring customers to right departments when required.
- Ensuring quality and compliance standards.
- Meeting and exceeding operational sales targets consistently.
- Demonstrating and enforcing company standards and brand value.
Essential Person Specification
Knowledge:
- Basic IT Knowledge, Internet, and Social Networking understanding
- Telecommunications experience (desirable)
Skills/Attributes:
- Must have strong sales experience and be passionate about sales, with a desire to exceed all sales targets set.
- Excellent computer skills, ability to multitask using multiple systems.
- Good telephone manner with an ability to build rapport quickly and effectively, on both warm and cold calls.
- Able to deal with different customer concerns, questions and objections ensuring that all interactions result in a positive experience for the customer regardless of the outcome of the contact.
- Desire to be proactive and create a positive experience for others.
- Customer / team centric aptitude.
- Basic MS Office knowledge.
- Ability to take on tasks and complete in a timely manner and deliver as expected.
Experience:
- Previous Sales experience
- Direct or In-Direct Experience of outbound calling based on cold data
Qualifications:
- Good level of education, including literacy and numeracy skills
Circumstances:
- Variable shift patterns on a rota basis - shift patterns include: 9am- 5pm & 11am – 7pm
- 1 in 4 weekend working will be required
- Hybrid working - minimum of 3 days in the Liskeard office
