WildAbout is a leader in the luxury floral industry, providing top-quality products and services for a wide range of clients. We are currently seeking a highly motivated, dynamic, organized and skilled individual to join our team as our Floral Contracts Manager.

As Contracts Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our corporate and private contracts, from initial client meetings to final execution, as well as the special contracts projects throughout the group. The role will involve managing a team, coordinating logistics on delivery days, and ensuring the successful design of our floral contracts tailored to each of our venues and clients. The successful candidate will be responsible for cultivating client relationships, negotiating contracts, and ensuring the delivery of exceptional floral services.

The Floral Contracts Manager will play a vital role in expanding our business footprint while maintaining high standards of customer satisfaction.

The ideal candidate will have excellent organizational and communication skills, as this role works closely with the managing director, office, clients and wider team; as well as a strong attention to detail. You should be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and be able to prioritize tasks effectively. Additionally, you should have a valid driver's license to drive a large van and a clean driving record as the role does include delivery and installation.

Responsibilities:
  • Meet with clients to understand their contract requirements and design preferences.
  • Create and manage floral budgets, ensuring profitability and cost control.
  • Source and select high-quality flowers and foliage from reputable suppliers for each contract.
  • Coordinate with vendors and venue staff to ensure smooth delivery and setup of weekly contract flowers.
  • Oversee a team of florists, providing guidance and direction on design concepts and execution.
  • Ensure all floral arrangements meet and exceed client expectations and adhere to the highest quality standards.
  • Continuously research and stay updated on the latest floral trends and techniques.
  • Coordinate the delivery and pick-up schedule for materials and ensure timely and efficient transportation.
  • Oversee the loading and unloading of materials, ensuring proper handling and storage procedures are followed.
  • Be the first point of contact for all contract-based issues.
  • Go to market as and when required.
  • Keep the studio clean and tidy with the Studio manager.
Criteria:
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Floral Contracts Manager or a similar role.
  • In-depth knowledge of floral design principles and ability to create unique and visually stunning arrangements.
  • Strong organizational and management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain client relationships.
  • Proficient in using floral ordering software and design tools.
  • Ability to lead and motivate a team of florists, providing guidance and constructive feedback.
  • Attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Full, clean driving license required.
  • You must be a team player and happy to work flexible hours in the studio and onsite.
  • Negotiate and secure floral contracts, ensuring favourable terms for both clients and the organisation.
  • Upsell additional floral products and services to maximise revenue opportunities during client interactions.
  • Coordinate with the floral design team to ensure timely delivery and quality standards are met.
  • Manage contract renewals and follow up on potential new business opportunities.
  • Manage contracts project from quotation through to production.
  • Organise schedules and ensure efficient utilisation of resources to meet contractual obligations.
  • Provide exceptional guest services by addressing client queries promptly and professionally.
  • Maintain accurate records of contracts, client communications, and sales activities using organisational tools.
Experience:
  • Proven experience in hospitality, restaurant, or hotel environments is highly desirable.
  • Demonstrable skills in upselling, organisational management, and time management are essential.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to build rapport with diverse clients.
  • Experience in managing contracts or sales within the floral or event industry.
  • Familiarity with customer relationship management (CRM) systems is beneficial.

Reporting to: Managing Director

Salary: Competitive Salary, Dependant on experience, with a six-month review. Auto enrolment pension. 20 days annual leave. Paid via our rota system; Tanda, which will monitor your weekly hours. Paid respectively on the 10th of the following month. Over time paid at time and half for hours worked between 10pm – 4am.

Hours of Work: Hours per week will be an average of 40 hours. Early Mornings and Weekend work is essential and days off in the week will be given to cover hours.
