About Us
Hi there we’re Wild. We’re on a mission to remove single‑use plastic from the bathroom, armed with refillable, natural and scent‑sational deodorants, body wash and lip balm – and we’re only just getting started. We launched in 2020 and as a high‑growth company we’re already one of Europe’s fastest‑growing start‑ups.
The Mission
Wild is on a journey to become the global leader in sustainable personal care. We are disrupting an industry dominated by legacy giants by proving that sustainability and high performance go hand‑in‑hand.
The Role
As our Senior Operations Manager, you will own how Wild’s products reach our customers – across DTC and retail. You will form part of the team that owns our 3PL relationships, with direct ownership of one of our key partners, ensuring orders flow smoothly from warehouse to doorstep and from warehouse to retailer, at the right cost and the right service level. This is a hands‑on operational role with real impact and accountability to deliver results. You will be expected to find, build and deliver your own margin wins and implement strategies to improve customer experience – identifying COGS savings across fulfilment, freight and warehousing, sizing the prize and project‑managing the change through to a measurable P & L impact. Nobody will hand you a roadmap; you will write it. This is a role for a consultant ready to become an operator. You have the analytical horsepower and structured problem‑solving of a Tier‑1 strategy environment, and you want to apply it where the results are real: lorries, warehouses, customers and margin.
What you will do
- Fulfilment Excellence Across DTC and Retail: Own end‑to‑end order fulfilment across our DTC, Amazon and retail channels. Set, monitor and hold partners to service KPIs – dispatch times, delivery performance, order accuracy and returns – ensuring our customer promise is kept every day, including through peak trading. Ensure retail orders are fulfilled to exacting wholesaler requirements, protecting on‑time‑in‑full performance and avoiding costly compliance penalties.
- 3PL Relationship Ownership: Form part of the team that owns our 3PL relationships, with day‑to‑day and commercial ownership of one of our key partners – performance reviews, rate cards, invoicing accuracy, capacity planning and contract negotiations. Act as the escalation point when things go wrong, resolving issues at pace and re‑engineering the process that failed so it does not fail twice. Continuously benchmark our fulfilment network, recommending changes to footprint, partners or terms where there is margin or service to be won.
- Self‑Generated COGS Savings and Margin Wins: Identify, quantify and own a pipeline of cost‑saving and margin opportunities across fulfilment, freight, packaging and warehousing – this pipeline is yours to generate, not to inherit. Build the commercial case for each initiative, win cross‑functional buy‑in and deliver the saving through to a verified P & L impact. Partner with Finance to ensure every win is measured, tracked and banked into the plan.
- Complex Project Delivery: Project manage complicated, cross‑business initiatives end‑to‑end – new market launches, 3PL migrations, network changes, systems integrations – owning the plan, the stakeholders and the outcome. See projects through to completion: no half‑finished workstreams, no orphaned actions, no surprises. Work cross‑functionally with Supply Chain, Finance, Commercial and Customer Service, acting as the connective tissue between strategy and physical execution.
- Team Leadership: Lead and develop the operations team from day one, fostering a culture of ownership, pace and data‑driven decision‑making. Build scalable processes and ways of working so the function grows ahead of the business, not behind it.
What we need from you
We welcome applications from candidates who may not hit every bullet point. If you are passionate about our mission and have relevant skills, please apply.
- Strategic Background: 5‑6 years at a Tier‑1 strategy consultancy (MBB or Big 4), trusted with hard problems, hungry to own outcomes.
- High Agency: You do not wait to be told; you find opportunity, build case, rally team and deliver results.
- Deeply Commercial: You understand how fulfilment cost, service levels and inventory flow through to gross margin and cash, and size the prize before committing effort.
- Project Management: Exceptional capability to run multiple complicated workstreams in parallel, keep senior stakeholders aligned, proven track record of seeing projects through.
- Collaborative: You work brilliantly in teams and across the business, warm collaboration, uncompromising on outcomes.
- Pace & Drive: Ready for a fast‑paced, intense environment with rapid development and career progression.
- Analytically Excellent: You turn messy operational data into clear decisions and build models yourself.
- Bonus Points: Direct operations, supply chain or 3PL exposure is a plus but not required.
Why Wild?
- Impact: You will be key in a mission‑driven company removing tonnes of single‑use plastic.
- Ownership: We hire the best and give them autonomy to build. You own the fulfilment and operations roadmap from day one.
- Growth: We are scaling quickly; your career trajectory limited only by ambition.
